Description of Classes
YOGA POSES — Students learn and master new yoga poses each session for the first 4 weeks and all poses are put together to create a flow.
BREATHING TECHNIQUES — Students gain knowledge in trying breathing techniques that help them to calm, relax, energize, or heat the body.
IDENTIFYING EMOTIONS — The use of emotion cards, called "Emo Cards," allow students to identify and get in touch with their feelings.
FUN with NON-COMPETITION — students learn non-competition and acceptance while having fun playing various yoga games.
COMMUNITY AWARENESS — Social concepts are taught each week in class. Students are then encouraged through a weekly practice called "Share Yoga with Your Buddies" to share these concepts with the people in their lives.
RELAXATION — At the end of each session students participate in "Savasana." While lying in a peaceful position with calming background music, students are led through guided meditation to focus their breathing which leaves them feeling relaxed and calm.

Class Time
Students Pre-K - Kindergarten: 45 minutes session
Students 1st - 8th grade: 1 hour session
Classes are held one to two times a week before, during or after school throughout the school year.

8 students minimum per class 25 students maximum per class

Class Fees
Student Package: $12 -$18 per student per class Optional $35 Materials Fee Includes: Mat & T-Shirt
All-School Demonstration or Assembly is Highly Recommended for maximum participation!
